Millbrook House II

Website

The second of our Millbrook houses, this home is three doors along from the first and so it made sense to extend the previous vocabulary. A country, holiday home, large enough to accommodate an extended family, for an extended holiday, or a large group of friends for a very social couple. This is a house designed to last. Schist, slate, copper and cedar combined with highly insulated German window joinery and underfloor heating, create a house to withstand all conditions. It again expresses our 'Whole of life' approach to architecture, with natural, low maintenance materials and everlasting beauty.

An Otago aesthetic, with modern detailing, this large home strives to maintain simple lines and be a good reflection of the local vernacular.
