The exterior exudes strength and character with its use of Corten steel—renowned for its weathering properties and distinct rust-like patina—beautifully juxtaposed against board-formed in-situ concrete walls. These textured concrete walls, which also feature throughout the interior, required expert craftsmanship. Calley Homes were selected for their extensive experience with this specialised construction technique, where precision and risk management are paramount. The result is a refined, durable finish that perfectly suits the coastal environment.

Spanning two levels, the home is designed to cater to the needs of multiple generations while maximising its beachfront location. The ground floor boasts a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that flows effortlessly onto expansive decks. A sheltered outdoor nook, framed by Corten steel soffits and a cast concrete wall, provides an inviting space to unwind, protected from the sea breeze.
