Waldorf Astoria Bangkok is a breathtaking landmark of contemporary luxury, rising elegantly above the Ratchadamri district. The architecture, inspired by the graceful curves of a blossoming magnolia flower, provides a striking sculptural presence in the city skyline. The lower floors and public spaces feature interiors by the world-renowned Hong Kong designer André Fu and his studio, AFSO. Fu has reimagined the classic Waldorf Astoria heritage through a modern lens, blending traditional Thai artisanal elements with sleek, sophisticated silhouettes and a serene bronze-and-marble palette. The upper levels, designed by New York-based AvroKO, culminate in a dramatic three-story dining destination, including the iconic Loft and Champagne Bar. This project is a masterclass in global collaboration, where fluid architectural forms and meticulously crafted interiors create a sanctuary of understated elegance in the heart of Bangkok.
