Cantilevering out towards the Waikato River, this parasitic architectural gesture clings to the existing Riverbank Lane building whilst reaching out over the new Victoria on the River Park. Reflecting the daring aspirations of both client and tenant the new creative studio is bold in gesture externally and internally.

"If one building could represent Hamilton’s central city zeitgeist then perhaps it could be this: an intriguingly angled insertion into an existing commercial building that was prefabricated on an adjacent site before being craned into position and completed. Thoughtfulness pervades the new structure, which cantilevers out towards the river below: recession planes have been carefully considered to respect neighbours’ views; the open-plan work environment is arranged for collaborative and independent work; and the curved corner deck – with balustrade detailed in sympathy with park elements below – extends the interior out to a prime riverside setting."
