This striking townhouse in St Albans is meticulously constructed for its owners, thanks to the hard work of Simplexity Builders. Set on TC3 land, the first challenge with this build was the dig-out. The huge ground remediation was required due to the requirements for a gravel raft foundation. An extensive dig-out was followed by a gravel reinstatement before the foundation could be laid. All was managed effortlessly by Simplexity. Simplexity Builders are experienced in dealing with earthquake-zoned homes, both on the hills surrounding Christchurch and on the flat. They worked with other contractors to get the work done as quickly and as efficiently as possible. The second challenge was the access to the property. The home sat down a lane, where four neighbouring properties share the one access route. Hence, much communication was required – a task Jarrod and his team pride themselves on. The finished home is a delight to look at and live in. The homeowners are incredibly happy and enjoy the particular eye for detail that Jarrod and his team employed to ensure the home looks and feels fantastic. This home was built after a negotiated open book deal, meaning the client sees the pricing of the architect and builder, and there is total transparency in the costings.
