There’s nothing quite like the warmth, ambience and mesmerising beauty of an open wood fire. With dancing flames and glowing logs, Jetmaster outdoor fireplaces create a striking focal point for outdoor living, bringing warmth and atmosphere to relaxed evenings and memorable gatherings. From contemporary architectural statements to timeless outdoor retreats, Jetmaster gives designers the flexibility to make fire an integral part of the design. For decades, Jetmaster has combined the appeal of an open fire with practical heating and cooking functionality. Today, its outdoor range offers architects and designers a variety of ways to incorporate fire into their projects, from inbuilt and freestanding wood fireplaces to purpose-designed wood-fired BBQs and a flueless outdoor gas solution. More than a source of warmth, fire becomes an architectural feature that shapes the character of a space and the way it is experienced.

THE FREEDOM TO DESIGN AROUND FIRE

A fireplace need not be an appliance added at the end of a project. With Jetmaster, it can be part of the architectural vision from the outset.

The right solution considers more than aesthetics alone. It must respond to the architecture, the intended use of the space and the practical requirements of installation. Whether integrated into a substantial masonry surround, incorporated into a bespoke outdoor kitchen or positioned beneath a covered terrace, Jetmaster offers options to suit a diverse range of outdoor environments.

For Francisco Lobos, Architectural Consultant at The Fireplace, that design flexibility is one of Jetmaster’s defining strengths.

“What stands out to me about Jetmaster is how adaptable it is to real architectural challenges. From integrating a fireplace into a compact space to creating a substantial recessed feature, no two installations need to be the same.”

“The key is finding the right balance between the architect’s or homeowner’s vision, the construction methodology and the technical requirements of the fireplace. In projects involving elements such as a single-pour concrete surround, the fireplace, structure, finishes and installation all need to be considered together from the beginning.”

“For me, that’s what defines Jetmaster’s versatility. It’s not just the range of sizes, configurations and functions, but the flexibility to design, detail and integrate each fireplace into the architecture. The result can be something quite different from one project to the next.”

JETMASTER ALFRESCO: VERSATILITY IN WOOD AND GAS

Available in inbuilt and freestanding configurations, the Jetmaster Alfresco range is designed to integrate seamlessly into a variety of outdoor settings. Combining the visual appeal of an open fire with radiant and convection heating, it offers architects and designers flexibility in both placement and presentation.

Available in six sizes - 700, 850, 1050U, 1050LL, 1200 and 1500 - the range can be incorporated into bespoke architectural surrounds or used to create a more independent fireplace feature.

Two-way heating performance

Jetmaster Alfresco wood fireplaces feature double-skin steel construction designed to deliver effective heat output through two complementary methods.

Radiant heat provides direct warmth from the fire, while the convection system draws cooler air into the chamber beneath the fire bed. As this air warms, it rises and exits through the front of the fireplace, creating a natural circulation of air through the space. The result is a combination of the direct warmth of an open fire and the additional heating contribution of convection.

Freestanding flexibility

For projects where a built-in surround is not the preferred solution, the Jetmaster Alfresco 850 is also available with a freestanding steel cabinet. The powder-coated cabinet is supplied as a kit set with an insulated flue, providing an alternative approach to incorporating a wood fire into an outdoor living area.

The flueless gas alternative

For those seeking the ambience of fire with the convenience of gas, the Jetmaster Alfresco-G offers a flueless outdoor solution. Its stainless-steel burner creates an inviting flame display and radiant warmth without requiring a conventional chimney or flue, subject to the applicable installation requirements.

It provides another way to incorporate fire into outdoor entertaining areas, including suitable covered outdoor spaces.

FIRE AND COOKING, DESIGNED TOGETHER

For outdoor spaces where cooking and entertaining go hand in hand, the Jetmaster Quadro 1050 and Contractor 1200 combine the atmosphere of an open wood fire with the functionality of wood-fired BBQ cooking.

Rather than treating the fireplace and cooking area as separate elements, these models bring them together in a single feature. The result is a natural gathering point where preparing food, sharing a meal and enjoying an open fire become part of the same outdoor experience.

Jetmaster Quadro 1050: Four ways to enjoy fire

The Jetmaster Quadro 1050 combines distinctive design with versatile outdoor cooking functionality. Designed to operate as an open wood fireplace and wood-fired BBQ, it offers 4 of ways to enjoy fire in an outdoor entertaining setting. BBQ and hot-plate grilling, cast-iron pot cooking and a removable pizza oven extends its cooking capabilities. And after dinner, load up for gathering around, as an open-fire brazier.

The Quadro 1050 is an appealing choice for those wanting to bring greater versatility to an outdoor kitchen or bespoke entertaining area. Integrated into an architectural surround, it can become both a practical cooking feature and a defining visual element of the space.

Jetmaster Contractor 1200: Built for wood-fired BBQ

The Jetmaster Contractor 1200 is designed for outdoor cooking, combining a built-in format with practical features for wood-fired BBQ entertaining.

A charcoal starter tray facilitates charcoal ignition, while the nickel-plated grill provides a dedicated cooking surface. Designed for integration into a purpose-built outdoor setting, the Contractor 1200 suits projects where BBQ cooking is a central part of the outdoor living experience.

Its straightforward, functional approach allows the cooking station to be incorporated into a wider outdoor kitchen or entertaining area, with the flexibility to complement the surrounding architecture.

FIRE MADE FOR LIVING. MADE FOR ARCHITECTURE

Whether it is an open wood fireplace integrated into a stone pavilion, a BBQ at the heart of an outdoor kitchen, a freestanding fire defining an entertaining area or a flueless gas fireplace beneath a covered terrace, Jetmaster offers architects and designers multiple ways to make fire part of the design.

With such a range of configurations, fuel options and cooking capabilities, Jetmaster provides the flexibility to create outdoor spaces where architecture, warmth and entertaining come together.
