Orewa Lodge: a home of distinction becomes a sound investment

Accommodating even the largest of families, the home features five spacious double bedrooms, with three of the bedrooms graced with an ensuite, complete with double basins and exquisite floor-to-ceiling tiles.

The guest suite provides a private escape, offering a walk-in wardrobe, an elegant ensuite, and direct access to a secluded outdoor area.

The main bedroom, however, is perhaps the standout feature of the property. Expansive and light-filled, it offers a generous ensuite, an impressive walk-in wardrobe, and access that leads to a private outdoor retreat, where a spa pool beckons for indulgent relaxation.

Practicality has not been overlooked in this meticulously planned home. The established and immaculately maintained garden offers a lush, tranquil oasis—a rare combination of beauty and low-maintenance living.

CJ Chen from Legendary Homes reflects on Orewa Lodge's journey and recent market success: "The initial buyers fell in love with the house when they first saw it.

They purchased it for $1.36 million in 2019, and once the couple settled in, we asked if they'd like to participate in the 2020 New Zealand Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition,” says CJ.

“They were thrilled but not surprised when the house won Regional Category Winner, Regional Gold Award, Top 100 and National Category Winner."

CJ continues, “Five years later, the owners decided to sell and relocate. We are pleased to say it was sold under the hammer for over $1.9 million; the house helped them achieve the best result in a slower market.”
