From heated towel rails to electric radiators and underfloor heating solutions, Warm NZ Central Heating has been sourcing and installing premium heating systems across New Zealand for over 20 years.
Dedicated to always providing effective and innovative heating solutions, a partnership that has been four years in the making now means Hunt Heating products are available directly from Warm NZ.

“The main benefit of this partnership was the huge selection of product available. The driving force behind the partnership was the ability to fill gaps in our offering and provide a total solution to the market. With Hunt being the biggest supplier in Australia, it gives us easy access to a comprehensive range of products,” says Warm NZ Central Heating’s managing director, Sean Stephens.
Another benefit is the ability to custom manufacture products for the New Zealand climate.
“This is something we have never been able to do. Hunt Heating is constantly looking at the latest trends and changes in the European market, getting products developed and adapted to suit the harsh Australian and New Zealand climate. A prime example is a gas boiler we’ve had made in England that’s specifically for the Australian and New Zealand market where it can hang externally saving you cupboard space and ease of install.”
With stock readily available from Australia, the partnership also means Warm NZ can receive orders within two to three weeks instead of 12 to 14 weeks. “We can also fly parts over if there is an issue in 24 hours. The other bonus is having the support from a large technical team on a similar time zone for anything that we need.”
Hunt Heating's products are designed to reflect the latest trends in interior design.
Warm NZ’s access to a contemporary designer range contains models that can be used throughout the home in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories or studies. Developed to reflect the latest trends in interior design these radiators will complement any modern scheme, especially with the wide selection of sizes, formats and colour options.
For example, designs such as the Pichio Heated Towel Rail, Rebel Heated Towel Rail, Ice Bagno Heated Towel Rail and the BDO Step Heated Towel Rail offer a stunning alternative to typical ladder rails.
Radiators like the Roll Radiator, Saturn & Moon Radiator, Iguana Circo Radiator and Ice Designer Radiator are sleek and can double as functional art pieces. The Zero Otto even has a simple, clean-cut shape that not only heats but also has an incorporated essence holder that can emit a fragrance into the room.
“We now have a purpose-built range of environmentally friendly heat pumps which come complete with all the components such as buffer tanks, making them very cost-effective, providing greater flexibility in design,” says Stephens.
“Because they are R290 high-temperature heat pumps, we can heat the hot water in the house as well as the underfloor heating. We could always do this with gas and diesel boilers, but the standard heat pumps, being lower in temperature, made this not possible. With the market going to photovoltaic, it gives us a viable option to use heat pumps for heating radiators, underfloor heating and hot water.”
“Additionally, Warm NZ now have a dedicated heat pump hot water cylinder range suited for the New Zealand market saving up to 70 per cent of hot water heating costs for our customers without central heating.”
“When we work on commercial projects, whether they be large high-end homes, schools, hospitals, hangers or commercial freezers, we can offer consultants and architects piece of mind knowing our designs are second to none drawing on a 25-year relationship with the Rehau design teams in Germany, Sydney and Melbourne. Now we have the technical design team from Hunt Heating in Melbourne as well – this only offers more strength. We have been part of the design team on many of the largest underfloor heating projects undertaken throughout New Zealand and are currently consulting on the design of a number of substantial commercial projects in New Zealand,” says Stephens.
“Any central heating system should have a comprehensive design done to ensure maximum efficiencies. Warm NZ offer a service of design, supply and install and maintain, whether it be for homes, freezers or any commercial project.”
The partnership means Warm NZ can receive orders within two to three weeks instead of 12 to 14 weeks.
“We have the ability to utilise the Rehau design team in Germany and the design team in Sydney and Melbourne.”
