While home renovations are often spearheaded by architects or interior designers, Collaroy Kitchen Centre has always welcomed homeowners with a vision for their homes and is confident its in-house team of designers can help transform client-led ideas into beautiful, practical spaces.
“We have a team of experienced designers who work closely with clients to understand their goals and requirements. This approach means that every project reflects the client's unique personality, lifestyle and budget,” says Helle. “It's not just about putting boxes together; it's about creating spaces that work seamlessly and beautifully.”

“We welcome people into our showroom to explore the products and have a chat,” says Helle.
“We’ll then allocate them a designer with whom they'll have a thorough discussion about their project as we try to understand what it is they’re after, how they currently use the space and what they want to achieve. And then we'll put a suggestion together,” Olsen continues.
“And most of the time, people say, ‘wow, that's exactly what I want’, or other times, you have to tweak it and work with the client to finalise the design,” Olsen adds.
A Japanese-inspired jade bathroom
One remarkable project that showcases Collaroy Kitchen Centre’s ability to bring a client's vision to life is the Church Point 3 bathroom project. This Japanese-inspired bathroom combines the elegance of Naturally Tiles’ olive gloss range with the warmth of their Cherryion wood-look tiles, creating this unique, oriental-style bathroom.
“The client's inspiration came from a Japanese bath they had seen online, but importing it was costly. So, we stepped in, found a similar bath to fit the small space, and worked our magic to create a stunning Japanese-inspired oasis for them,” says Helle.
A bold approach to a separate kitchen
Another project that exemplifies Collaroy Kitchen Centre’s direct approach is the Collaroy 6 kitchen project. With its striking black cabinetry, solid walnut timber benchtop and Bruno Perla honed marble splashback; this kitchen is a masterwork of moody, modern design.
“It's not just about following trends; it's about creating a kitchen that perfectly suits the client's needs and tastes. This client has a large house but not a large kitchen. It wasn’t an open plan kitchen either, so we were constrained to the kitchen ‘room’ in a way, in terms of layout,” says Helle.
