Blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces is an emerging trend in interior design — one that excites the team at Sareen Stone. Established in 2003, Sareen Stone is one of Australia’s leading stone suppliers, specialising in the import of premium natural stone from around the world. With a selection of gorgeous, high-end natural stone products for interior and exterior spaces, Sareen Stone is well-positioned as a go-to for Australian designers and architects.
“Natural stone tiles are so versatile and suitable for indoor and outdoor living,” says Alison Jones of Sareen Stone. “They are available in a honed finish for indoors, and the same material in an alfresco finish for outdoors, allowing the seamless transition between both. This aligns with the growing trend of creating seamless transitions between indoor living spaces and outdoor entertaining areas. Through close partnerships with quarries, we ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and luxury. Our dedicated approach allows us to understand and exceed the specific needs of our clients.”
One of the key benefits of natural stone is its unique veining, colour, and pattern that makes every installation truly one of a kind. This sense of exclusivity can enhance the value of a home, giving it a distinct character that can’t be replicated with synthetic imitation materials. Natural stone is also extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear caused by weather and human traffic, making it ideal for any home or commercial environment.
If you’re considering stone for your next project, look no further. Alison has curated a selection of Sareen Stone’s best products to inspire your design journey.

“As a natural material, limestone tiles have become increasingly popular, providing versatile solutions for contemporary design trends,” Alison says. “Limestone tiles typically have a smoother, more refined surface than the naturally pitted look of travertine. This sleek finish appeals to modern, minimalist designs, offering a more uniform appearance.”
Ideal for landscapes, swimming pool surrounds, outdoor living spaces, lounges or dining rooms, Cathedral Limestone is available in large-format tiles for a seamless appearance with minimal grout lines.
