8 lamps and pendant lights to bring instant style to any space

Also fitting for japandi interiors and those that follow the wabi-sabi design philosophy, the William lantern shade from Broste Copenhagen is constructed with a delicate rice paper. When illuminated, it spreads a soft, ambient light.

Constructed from what’s described as a cocoon material consisting of tiny strands, this pendant light is reminiscent of a paper lantern – its curvaceous form fitting for modern interiors, neotenic designs, and everywhere in between. Answering to form and function, the lamp provides both diffused and direct illumination.

Minimalist in design, the Point Floor Lamp is the result of a collaboration between product designer Alex Buckman and Città’s 3D design team, David Moreland and Nikolai Sorensen. The hand-blown glass shade is spherical in shape and it is from here that an ambient, dimmable light shines from.

‘Terho’ translates from Finnish to English as ‘acorns’ – a fitting description of these lights by designer Maija Puoskari. Made from FSC certified wood and mouth-blown glass from Poland, the pendants add texture and warmth.

One of the more sculptural lights, this pendant light resembles the shape of a bird taking flight. Designed and crafted in Greece by Dezaart, it is a contemporary minimalist piece that creates a warm and ambient atmosphere – ideal for above a dining table or reading nook.

For use both outdoors and indoors, this floor lamp features a tripod stand and a textural, woven lampshade. Available in three sizes that can be grouped together or used individually, the light is diffused onto the ground below, creating a warm glow.

Described as a “poetic and sculptural” design, Nightworks Studio’s Tasman Double Pendant is a family of modular LED pendants that can be installed separately, or connected to form the shape of a wave. This modular design offers versatility and the concealment of the electrical system helps the pendant to sit seamlessly in a minimalist interior. Its curvy silhouette is also fitting for neotenic interiors.
