Exceptional thermal performance in roofing solutions

“One of the biggest challenges in the industry is compliance with building codes. Here, Dimond shines. Our Dimond Advanced Roofing Systems exceed the rigorous standards of the New Zealand Building Code’s H1 requirements. This means our systems don’t just meet the bare minimum; they go above and beyond, ensuring quality and performance that stand the test of time,” says Gorrie.

“We understand that every project has its own thermal needs. That’s why we offer customisable options for insulation materials and thickness, allowing you to tailor your warm roof system to achieve optimal thermal performance.”

Acoustic performance has also been considered, with options such as Audioperf liner deck and GIB Noiseline also available from Dimond, helping to achieve high levels of sound insulation.

“When it comes to durability, Dimond doesn’t compromise. We utilise top-performing components from trusted brands to ensure that our roofing systems are built to last,” says Gorrie. “Our warm roof systems can offer ISO9705 Group one and two fire ratings for maximum safety, providing peace of mind for both homeowners and businesses.”

Condensation risk management is another key area of focus for Dimond. Through thorough thermal and hygrothermal analysis, they ensure effective management of condensation risk, mould and corrosion, preserving the integrity of your roof for years to come.

“We understand the importance of efficient construction processes. By enhancing weather protection and offering construction programme benefits, such as controlled lead-times and deliveries, our roofing systems streamline the installation process, saving you time and money,” says Gorrie.

“And for environments where corrosion is a concern, such as marine or industrial areas, our roofing systems are designed to withstand even the harshest conditions, offering reliable protection year after year.”

Thermal performance: Each product offers customisable R-values (R2.0 to R7.0), allowing tailored efficiency.

Condensation management: All variants include a complete vapour barrier layer, separating internal and external environments to eliminate condensation risks.

Construction timelines: They accelerate construction timelines, offering early close-in capability with seamless installation.

Compliance: Each product complies with Building Codes and NZ Metal Roofing Code standards.

Flexibility: They offer design flexibility with various options from the Dimond Range, including acoustic solutions and customisable top skins.

Enhanced durability: Dimond Advanced Roofing Systems significantly prolong the lifespan of the roof structure and profiled metal roofing by effectively minimising condensation and thermal bridging. This not only ensures structural integrity over the long term but also substantially reduces ongoing maintenance needs.

Cost efficiency: The lifecycle cost benefits of warm roofs are notable. When replacement is necessary, Dimond Advanced Roofing Systems top sheet can be effortlessly removed and replaced without disturbing the underlying structure. This seamless process offers substantial savings by allowing the building to remain fully operational, eliminating the need for costly tenting and evacuation.

Advanced Vented System

With impressive thermal performance and condensation management in cold climates, the core of Advanced Vented System features Thermal Vent PIR Board, ensuring continuous thermal insulation with customisable R-values (R2.0 to R7.0).

"The Advanced Vented System features a vented structural rail for airflow and thermal expansion control, as well as additional performance that prevents ice dams in cold climates that have high snowfall,” says Gorrie.

Condensation risk is eliminated with a complete vapour barrier layer and acoustic performance is effortlessly enhanced thanks to the integration of Audioperf.

Advanced Non-Vented System

This assembly also has a PIR Board core offering customisable R-values between R2.0 and R7.0. Advanced Non-Vented System eliminates condensation concerns with a complete vapour barrier layer, separating internal and external environments, and streamlines construction timelines with early close-in capability using Dimond Base Sheet and a self-adhesive Dimond Vapour Barrier layer.

“With its Dimond Vapour Barrier and Dimond Underlay, it features a two-part water vapour and condensation control system, suitable for all environments.”

Assuring weather-tightness, Advanced Non-Vented complies with Building Code and NZ Metal Roofing Code standards. The separable Dimond Top Sheet allows precise customisation, overcoming composite insulated roof panel limitations.

Effortlessly enhance acoustic performance by integrating acoustic board, Audioperf. Tailor your roofing solution with design flexibility, choosing from the Dimond Range based on base metal, coating, and exposure zone.

Advanced Standard System

Advanced Standard System offers various Dimond post and rail system heights addressing NZBC H1 (Energy Efficiency) requirements across different climate zones in New Zealand.

Incorporating a lap sealed vapor control layer and hygrothermal calculations, AdvancedStandard ensures seamless separation between internal and external environments, mitigating interstitial condensation risks. It's NZ-made, BRANZ appraised, non-combustible, and durable for 50 years, meeting NZBC standards.

Each Dimond Advanced Roofing System offers unique features and benefits tailored to different project requirements, providing options for thermal performance, condensation management, construction timelines, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. The choice depends on specific project needs, environmental considerations, and budget constraints.
